(as a service user),

My 91yr mother was admitted to hospital on Wed with an extremely high heart rate and very breathless. I live a two hour drive from Daisy Hill hospital and unable to visit everyday. I was so grateful to be able to see and talk with my mother today using the virtual visit service.

It's a fantastic service -my mother has temporarily lost her sight so is unable to use her phone so this service is perfect for her as someone sets it up for her and although she can't see me, she can hear and talk with me. Its such a relief to me that I can see how she is too. Also my son was able to join us and he lives in England which my mother really enjoyed.

Thank you so much for organising this service it really is brilliant.
