I had a double hernia operation by keyhole surgery. The whole process from arrival was handled superbly by the staff. The care I received was excellent. I had a problem urinating after the operation and there was no problem keeping me in overnight and dealing with this complication. This is a gem of a surgery unit.

Morning – thank you so much for your very kind posting and I will ensure that the staff all see this. As the Matron it always makes my day to see that you received excellent care as that is what we strive to do, and I can see when patients take the time to post, that we are getting it right

I am pleased that your issue with urinating was sorted, but this unfortunately does happen at times.

It is a gem of a surgery unit and I am very proud of the team – thank you again for posting this and I hope all is going well

I appreciate in your busy day you taking the time to read my response and reply. More importantly you are prepared to listen to feedback from your patients. This is why you are good and I have been told that you are one of the best small surgical units in the country. Keep up the good work however hard and frustrating it gets. You are saving and enhancing lives.
