About: Manor Park Surgery

Been trying for over a month the get an appointment, every time i call (8am for a morning appointment, 1pm to get an afternoon appointment) i can't get an appointment.

I have a lump on my neck which is getting bigger and more painful with every passing day, painkillers are not working, cannot sleep, getting headaches, been to the walk-in center and told i need a referral for a scan but yet still cannot get an appointment.

The people are reception are not helpful, they kept telling me to go to the surgery to register (before all of this started) yet i could do it online and didn't tell me this, i then found out they had not registered me. I sent over the registration again and it sat in an out tray for lord knows how long (despite me calling every day for an appointment and seeing the registration still had not been completed). I was then booked an advanced appointment and not told it had been cancelled because they still had not sorted the registration (but I was blamed for this). There was then an issue with another surgery registering me as i had called them to see if they could see me (I was blamed for this). Still no appointment, called reception this morning at 7:45 as the website says the GP opens at 7am to find that the website is wrong and that the reception opens at 8am.

This is beyond a doubt the worst gp surgery i have ever come across, despite the notes from the walk-in center the GP won't even just refer me to get the scan i need (even though they can also see the history of cancer in my family and the chance this lump could be cancerous.

Once i have my referral i will be taking this further with the regulatory body.

Dear Patient

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your recent experience. I am extremly sorry for any difficulties you have experienced. You have chosen not to give your name so I would appreciate it if you can complete a feedback form/email the practice which will mean that I am able to investigate the concerns you have reported and understand what has happened. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Wishes
