"An inspiring GP"

About: General Practices in Grampian

(as a service user),

I recently had a few contacts with my GP practice. Each time I spoke to Dr Chang (/Cheng sorry for spelling). I genuinely cannot fault the interactions at all. She was kind, empathetic and efficient. She organised referrals and prescriptions for me promptly. She is an inspiring GP and her patients are lucky to have her. One of the contacts was regarding my mental health, which is a topic I previously found very hard to discuss. Dr Chang was welcoming and approachable and handled everything I discussed in a matter-of-fact yet compassionate way. It truly helped me so much. I am very thankful for her.

Dear CRB123,

Thank for sharing this with us. I'd like to be able to forward your kind words to Dr Cheng and wondered if you could send the name of the practice you attended to me to help locate her. The GP Practices don't have access to respond to Care Opinion posts but I think she would be happy to read this and should know the difference her kind, empathetic and approachable manner has made.

If you'd be happy to share the practice name, you can do so on this thread, or by email (kirsten.dickson@nhs.scot) or by telephone/ text: 07885720267. I don't share any contact details with the practice.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Take care,

Kirsten
