"Dermatology Dept West Glasgow ACH"

I was seen last week in the dermatology dept  having received a cancellation appointment just 1 week after seeing my GP about a mole  I was concerned about . I was seen by Dr Porter who was very thorough and reassuring and decided the best thing to do would be to remove it there and then .

.I was obviously a bit apprehensive about it as I have to admit I’m not good with needles and I get quite panicky. . I have to say , I shouldn’t have worried as the surgeon and nurse who carried out the procedure  (surgeon Ms John & nurse G Murray )

were just brilliant and were so lovely to me keeping me informed what what was happening and talking to me to keep my mind off what they we’re doing.The procedure itself wasn’t as bad as I thought but I think that was mostly down to how well looked after I was . Everyone I came in contact with in the department including the lovely man in the photography department ( Craig ?)  could not have been nicer and more caring. Cannot praise them all highly enough . .
