About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Elective Overnight Stay Centre/Gynaecology Ward Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I was referred by my doctor after developing severe abdominal pain. My experience in the Emergency Department was long, staying in the department for over 24 hours. However, all the staff were great.

I was then transferred onto Female Surgical. Everything has been great on the ward. The staff have all been absolutely unreal. They explain everything excellently and always have an extremely friendly attitude. Christina has been especially great.

Any food I have had has been brilliant and the ward has been spotless throughout my stay. There are no improvements I can think of.
