My time in Daisy Hill began in the Emergency Department - I was brought through quickly and there was no waiting around thankfully.

On the Female Surgical Ward it has been fantastic - the nurses have all been really great. It's also nice being on a ward with such great patients as well. I really cannot complain about the care I have received - they are all very helpful. Grace in particular has been excellent but everyone has been lovely.

When it comes to the food, it has not been great. It has been very bland and I'm not really a meat eater so there hasn't been much choice for me. The soup has been nice however. Everything has been kept very clean.

I have no suggestions for improvement - everyone is very good and very helpful. I think the staff really deserve a pay rise of at least 15%.

Thank you for posting about your experience in Daisy Hill Hospital.

I am sorry to hear that you were not entirely satisfied with the food. I will pass your comments on to the Catering Manager who regularly reviews the Patient menu and will take into consideration your feedback as part of the review process.

I will pass your positive feedback regarding the cleanliness of the hospital to the Domestic Services Team.
