Since Tuesday I haven't been feeling well. I went and stayed with my daughter and then took a series of vomiting, which contained blood. I went into A+E, which didn't take long at all and I was seen to pretty promptly. I have been in Acute Medical Unit ward since Thursday. The doctors haven't gotten to the bottom of what caused this, however they have kept my sodium and potassium levels at bay. It seems to be that they can't do a particular type of scope whilst I am in hospital, so I may need to get one via outpatients, which may be a long waiting time. I will say that the staff have been brilliant, I can now appreciate how difficult it must have been during lockdown. The food is lovely and the hygiene/ cleanliness is brilliant. Hopefully I will get home soon, but I would rather be in full form before I would be allowed home.
