I was at work when I suddenly felt unwell, I went to a&e after seeking advice. From the receptionist to the triage nurse my care was absolutely exemplary. On being admitted to A&E, I had the pleasure of meeting a junior Dr I think her name was Chloe and it was her first day at the VHK, her bedside manner was brilliant and she didn't make me feel like I was wasting her time and she constantly made sure I was not in too much pain. From there I was transferred to gynae triage and again I don't remember the nurses names ,1 was a student nurse and then a staff nurse, who were both amazing I had quite a wait due to the business of the hospital, but again the nurses constantly checked on me and made sure I wasn't in a lot of pain.
The nhs are having a tough time lately, but through the staff I encountered, I cannot be more thankful and proud to work for our nhs and to work alongside these amazing people
"I cannot be more thankful"
