"Better communication between care coordinator social worker needed"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Parkwood inpatient unit

(as the patient),

Staff treated me well. I worry about things when they're not going my way and try to keep calm. If they've time they help me.

What could be better is the communication between the care coordinator and my social worker. I need money from my account but I can't get it myself because I can't get leave and I can't get anyone else to help me.

The staff do the best they can on the ward but there aren't enough people to help me. Too much time waiting for staff. Eventually you give up and go away which helps them doesn't it? But not me.

At times I don't know what to do for the best. Food not good.

Thank you for your comment; I will discuss how we may be better able to facilitate people's community needs whilst they are in hospital with the ward teams. We are also reviewing the food menu to improve variety and quality of this aspect of the service.
