"One of the most incredible nurses I’ve ever had looking after me"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Surgery (wards 19, 20, 24, 26 &29)

(as a service user),

I just want to say that the entire team in both Surgical Assessment Unit and Ward 20 are an absolute credit to the NHS. But especially Rebecca, the nurse who looked after me during my stay in Ward 20!

She was so attentive, on the ball and caring and I felt so heard, so advocated for and so safe! One of the most incredible nurses I’ve ever had looking after me, and the kind of nurse I aspire to be when I qualify. If I become half the nurse Rebecca is, then I’ll be doing well.

Thank you so much again for everything! Doctors Niall and Harry were a pleasure too, and again an absolute credit to the NHS, made me feel so at ease and even had me laughing when I felt super unwell.

Dear CaitlinS

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such lovely feedback in regards to your experience of attending the Surgical Assessment Unit and General Surgery Department of the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

It was fantastic to hear how the staff looked after you so well and made you feel safe and most importantly listened too.

I can only begin to imagine how anxious you must have been prior to attending so to hear you felt supported and comfortable throughout your stay was very heart warming.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to all the staff especially Rebecca who I'm sure will be touched to hear such glowing feedback.

I would like to wish you well in your studies and thanks again this really means a lot to the staff.

Kind regards

Kevin
