About: West Middlesex University Hospital / Urgent Care Centre

Brought my 16 yr old daughter with sore throat and cough. We are unable to get gp appt. Triage told me we should call Gp. She just look my daughter throat and temp . Then person called our own GP for appt , to call us . I have explained my daughter needs have a face to face consultation . But still no luck to see a doctor in UCC. I’m really disappointed about this. My daughter ‘ s case is minor illness is under criteria of UCc. We came there due to reason no appointment available in our GP. The person in Greenbrook

Triage is not friendly . I worked in NHs I m really disappointed .I will not recommend this UCC

Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry you were upset by your experience at the Hounslow Urgent Treatment Centre. Every patient who comes into us will have an assessment to identify serious or life-threatening conditions and actions taken appropriately.

The urgent treatment centre manages conditions requiring urgent same day treatment. All patients are assessed on arrival and you may be redirected to the most appropriate place for you to be seen. This helps prevent long waits in our department and means safer continuity of care from your GP, who has access to your medical history.

We recommend that everyone telephones 111 prior to attending the urgent treatment centre to ensure they are attending the right place at the right time.
