"Great family therapy sessions"

Over several months my family have received family therapy as part of a package of care provided by NHS Lanarkshire’s CAMHS for our son. The team of family therapists at Coathill Glenshirra/Reach Out led by Jenni have helped us with talking therapies that transformed our ability to communicate as a family in what was a very difficult and challenging time emotionally for us all.

The therapy team's insight was always gentle, kind and persistent, but ultimately helped give us language to speak about very difficult and tender issues in a safe space. Our family dynamics around communication and acceptance have been transformed by the help and support from the team.

There were many tears shed at the outset in our sessions, but towards the end of our time with the therapists there was more laughter and ultimately the restoration of strong family bonds and a deeper connection for us all.

Myself, my husband and our teenage son would like our sincere thanks to the team to be noted, as without them we might not be in the positive and loving family environment we are all enjoying now. Thank you.
