"Caring approach"

About: Medicine For The Elderly

(as the patient),

I attended Whitehill's Health & Community Care Centre for bloods to be taken and a blood pressure check.

At this time I was feeling very low and weepy.  The nurse took time to sit and chat with me to calm me.  Her whole manner and way of being was lovely and helpful.  I appreciate the kindness given by her.

We ended up chatting about running, I hope she keeps going and enjoys her runs.

Dear Arunner,

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide such positive feedback on Care Opinion, especially at a time when you were feeling poorly.

I am very pleased to hear the nurse provided such person centred kindness to you and I will share this with the team and the nurse involved in your care. Such feedback makes us feel very valued and reassures us we are providing the best possible care we can.

I hope you are feeling better and the running is helping with your road to recovery.

Many thanks and Kind Regards,

Shona
