"Would highly recommend anyone to have their babies here"

Hiya

I came into Inverurie maternity in the early hours of the morning, I was in labour with my baby girl

I have given birth in 3 different hospital now and I have to say when I had my little girl in Inverurie it was the best experience I have had after having 3 babies before,

The midwife who was looking after me was called Erin and she was amazing 🥰 She made me feel so at ease and relaxed. She was very friendly and professional and she looked after me my partner and of course our baby girl amazingly 😁

Along side Erin was head midwife Jude who was fantastic, she was on call when I went into hospital and she stayed with me from when I arrived in the early hours till late evening as there were complications after birth with baby. She checked on me very regularly, she helped me stay calm and explained everything what was happening with baby,

She was on call that night as well and still stayed to make sure me and baby was ok she was absolutely fantastic.

Erin handed over to Caroline who was so friendly, an absolutely lovely midwife. Me and baby was being transferred out to a hospital what was 3 hours away because Aberdeen was full. As you can imagine it was quite a shock to me and quite scary and Jude and Caroline did everything in their power to reassure me and try find me space in Aberdeen. Thankfully I did end up in Aberdeen, Caroline made sure I had plenty to eat and drink after having baby in case we had to make the long journey 3 hours away.

The room I was in having my baby was absolutely amazing, so spacious, had beautiful lights like the Northern lights and little stars,

Usually the bed to have baby on is so small and uncomfortable but the beds in Inverurie are big circle beds with plenty room on them.

I gave birth in a completely different potion to previous pregnancies and was able to explore a whole new experience. There are also little star fairy lights around the bed really cute and comforting,

All and all this was my 4th baby and by far the best experience I have had

Big thank you to Erin, Jude and Caroline for doing such an amazing job looking after me and baby you was all superb and I will never forget your kindness and care you had for us

I’m hoping to come visit with baby very soon so hopefully will see some familiar faces
