Thanks I have just completed my course of treatment at the radiotherapy department in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI), having been referred from NHS Tayside.

The team of therapeutic radiographers have been exceptional; courteous, caring, yet ready for a joke and laugh. They ensured I understood the information, the process and management of any potential side effects.

In particular, the people to mention are Meghan, Anna, Natalie, Caitlin, Debbie, Martin and Chloe (undergrad). My apologies if I have forgotten anyone.

I felt welcome and safe during my course of treatment. I observed them working in the same way with the multitude of other people attending on a daily basis.

They work hard under pressure every day, trying to help as many people as they can, they are a credit to NHS Grampian.

Can I also add that the availability of the free parking was brilliant too.

Thank you for getting in touch and sharing your experience of radiotherapy treatment – it really does mean a lot to us as a team. We are very proud of the service we provide here at the Radiotherapy department and also of the team who work so hard to deliver the welcoming and person-centred service you have described so well.

I have shared your feedback with the whole team and Meghan, Anna, Natalie, Caitlin, Debbie, Martin and Chloe were all delighted with the special mention.
