I was admitted to Raigmore Hospital, ward 6A surgical as an emergency from my home in the western Isle, there was a nurse called Samantha who looked after me until my transfer to Ward 4A. She was so caring, thoughtful and communicated so well, telling me all the time what was happening and keeping me informed. Being from the Island and having no relatives with me, she even offered to do my washing for me.
When I moved down to ward 6A she came to visit me after her shift to see if I was okay and if there was anything she could do for me. The care she gave me was exceptional and I will never forget her kindness, She went the extra mile for me and I would like to commend her for being so wonderful.
