On my last day in Japan I developed a rash which got worse during the flight back home.
As it was a week-end I could not call my Doctor, so I called the 111 service who told me to go to the Ealing Hospital A&E.
At the A&E department I saw the receptionist who took my details and then waited. There were lots of people coming and going. After waiting an hour I went back to the receptionist to as how long it would be before I was seen. She was a young girl, very rude. She asked me why I was complaining. I was not complaining, I only wanted to know how long it would take. The rash was making me very uncomfortable.
I eventually saw a nurse and then a doctor two hours later who gave me penicillin. This helped but not completely, I had to go and see my doctor for more medicine. I’m OK now.
No problems with the 111 service.
