"The care I received was fantastic"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / General surgery

(as a service user),

I had a knee operation at Cannock Chase Hospital and the care I received was fantastic from the minute I walked through the door to the minute I was wheeled out in a wheelchair!

The staff were so kind and polite. I cannot remember all of the nurses names but each one treated me and other patients on the ward with dignity and respect, as did the staff that collected me and took me to the operating theatre.

This is the kind of care we all expect from our wonderful NHS. I could not have asked for anything better. One member of staffs’s name I can remember is Vaidia? (Not sure if this has been correctly spelt).

Please pass on my thanks to each and everyone who was on shift that day (doctors, nurses, anaesthetists, physiotherapists) you were all tremendous.
