"The easing of the terror I felt"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

Thank you so very much to the two paramedics who bluelighted me to the RCHT.  Steve was truly very calming to an extremely frightened patient who kept saying sorry, namely me .

At the hospital the staff were absolutely run into the deck but still smiled, were efficient and above all,  else kind and caring .

I want to thank every single member from  the call handlers, paramedics, nurses, doctors and everyone in between that work for our precious NHS.

………Thank you …..

Good Morning,

Thank you so much for providing us with feedback on the service you received, it is much appreciated! I am so glad to hear you were well looked after and that Steve kept you calm, though I am sorry that you had to experience this at all.

For confidentiality, your patient information is redacted on this platform and so we cannot find the details of your incident, we would love to pass your message onto the Ambulance crew who attended you and so, if you would be willing to share some additional information, please could you email plaudits@swast.nhs.uk with your name, date the ambulance arrived, address and thank you message- we will then ensure this is passed onto the relevant crew.

Thank you again for taking the time to feedback, I hope you are recovering well!

Kindest regards,

Natalie

Dear orionjp96

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your lovely feedback. Please accept my apologies for the delay in getting back to you on here.

It must have been quite a frightening time for you having to come into hospital via ambulance. I am pleased that the staff you encountered in the hospital were efficient, caring and kind.

I am replying to you as a member of the Patient Experience team, but I will ensure your kind words are passed on to the appropriate team. Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with your lovely feedback.

Best wishes

Megan
