"They were like two guardian angels"

This has been one of the best experiences I have ever had.

The girls are so kind and thoughtful.

My standout moment was when Joanne came to my flat with another young lady. I was very stressed. And they took over. It was like two angels wearing reindeer antlers took over. And made everything right again.

I can never thank Joanne enough. She was my angel that day.

I was so stressed that day and Joanne made everything better.

When Joanne and her co-worker (Tia) turned up at my door wearing reindeer antlers carrying Christmas gifts.

I was on the phone to my son. Trying to talk me through taking a covid test.

They were like two guardian angels. Joanne just took over.

They went back to the hospice to get a new pack of covid tests as the one I had, had parts missing.

They were back 40 minutes later. Joanne did the test, and it was negative.

When they left, they took my rubbish away for me and posted some mail for me.

They went way above and beyond their duty. I felt I’d been wrapped in love and kindness.

I can never thank them enough for the help and kindness they gave me.

oh my goodness thank you so much for sharing this lovely story

what a surprise having two of our nurses wearing reindeer antlers and with a Christmas gift and it sounds like it was perfect timing too just when you needed some help and advice.

I know Jo and Tia had so much fun delivering Christmas presents to all of our patients and I am so glad they were able to help you..

at Lewis Manning we strive to make sure we listen to what matters most to all of our patients and hearing stories like yours makes everything we do every day so wonderful
