"There was cheerful banter"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Urology( Ward 70)

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had a short stay in ward 70 of the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, and the staff on the ward did a great job looking after him. It was his first time in hospital and I was worried about leaving him but he felt very comfortable in there (apart from the necessary medical treatment) He was lucky enough to get a single room, and the staff where so good bringing him food, water and answering his buzzer quickly. He appeared to get on really well with the staff, there was cheerful banter and everyone who was up to visit was made feel welcome. A really lovely team

Dear Joaney

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

It was wonderful to hear how all the staff within the Urology Department took good care of your son throughout his stay especially with it being his first time in hospital.

It was also nice to hear how he was provided with a single room and anytime he needed anything the staff were fast to react.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the staff who I'm sure will be touched to hear they were able to make his stay an enjoyable one.

I hope he's feeling a lot better after his stay.

Kind regards

Kevin
