"Outstanding A&E Care"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I ended up in A&E a few weeks ago. My inhalers caused my potassium to drop dangerously low - and a bad ECG. Things weren't good.

The department was bursting with patients and staff were fire fighting on all sides. Dr Parker went above and beyond. She gave me the best care and ensured I was safe when my condition was life threatening. I can't thank her enough for saving me. If that wasn't enough she even bought me a sandwich whilst on her break. Her kindness really touched me and I'll always remember that.

Her care and kindness has literally changed my life. Myself and my family will forever be grateful for you.
