"The wonderful Care Assistant at Antrim Area Hospital"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Ward C3 Female Surgical

(as a service user),

Patricia was working as a Care Assistant in Ward C3 when I was admitted earlier this week. I remembered her from my last surgeries in April/May 2022 because she was such a burst of fresh air, so full of positivity (somehow not in an annoying way) kindness, and she just has a wonderful ability to lift everyone's spirits.

Earlier this week, I was in a lot of pain from a difficult surgery and hadn't been able to sleep for a second night so was very upset. She was so warm and kind to me that before I knew it I was up and getting washed from the bowls of warm soapy water she kindly offered to bring me, something I had no intention of doing due to my pain levels but which really helped me feel better. I hope Antrim Area Hospital appreciates her as much as I did, thank you so much for getting me through such a difficult time.
