"Trip to emergency treatment centre with my son."

I had to attend Crawley Hospital urgent treatment centre with my 8 year old Son due to him somehow cutting his hand open.

My son is autistic and non verbal so going places like hospitals can be quite challenging and overwhelming for him and myself, knowing a visit may not go as easy for him.

I am absolutely amazed and so very grateful for the staff who saw my son straight away.

They were very understanding of his needs and so cautious of how they spoke to him.

We arrived to be checked in and seen straight away by a nurse and took to a private quite room to make sure he didn’t panic and was as calm and relaxed as possible.

We was seen by a nurse to glue his hand back together within 10 minutes of arriving and I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone involved . My son was so calm and relaxed when being seen which is more than I could have asked for. All aftercare was given and even explained to my son who may not of understood but he was treated with the upmost respect.

Thank you Crawley Hospital Urgent Care Centre very much.
