"How can anything be ruled out without seeing the right people"

Following an awful rheumatology experience, 3 years on and I suffer more symptoms and ongoing and have not seen neurologists after referral 2 years ago and gp gave referral but no appointments. waited 2 years for referral to Bristol still not happened and a life of hell all down to poor rheumatology at dorchester. Just because one specialist doesn't have answer, don't fob people off. Other healthcare professionals have said they hope I find an interested doctor, they can see I'm unwell. Well, I haven't.  Only advice from charity doctors saying what I should be investigated for ........ Nurses and docs at A&E say to go and push as it's not acceptable, yet you hit a brick wall or have no strength to push, like banging your head on a wall. Why do we wait to become an emergency.

Even the could be this and that bandied by docs are scary as no treatment  or interest. If you do not clearly fit into a box then diagnosed with fob off diagnosis unfitting, or just discharged. Any department first tests negative so no forward thinking and none seem capable of dealing with clinical presentation, just rely on bloods and with so much new and rare and no forward thinking many including myself left to suffer. All that is suspected for bloods fits the reason you are there but bloods do not fit then why are no other measures put in place, we are all different and there are many seronegative .

Why do they say one thing to you and write another, why do I feel I'm treated like I'm crazy because THEY don't have an answer, rather than try find one, especially when symptoms acknowledged as not right and needing to get to the bottom of. Why suspect fitting diagnosis but rule out based on bloods etc and no further testing or alternative testing for same thing.

You're left to feel like a hypochondriac when symptoms are real, the poor health becomes your new normal when it's NOT normal and add to that a service that seems to be failing and a total distrust, and you suffer in silence hoping a lottery win can afford you a decent private service with compassion care and interest.

When will specialists who don't seem interested finally be held accountable for failures. A good doc is worth their weight in gold, but it feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack and health deteriorates on the journey to find one. Undiagnosed sufferings are hell as are unfitting diagnosis and deteriorating because of them. Why do different specialities not communicate. How can everything be ruled out without seeing the right people, seeing face to face. Are we just to go back in time now and just live until we don't, with whatever ails us, its going backwards not moved on.

I've had 3 years to look into why my health is poor and whilst I can (as can other doctors) see there is a problem, I can't diagnose myself but I believe a GOOD specialist could.

Yes the staff there have left destruction in my opinion, and it's appalling so I'm compelled to leave my follow on story. Then I'm asked, am I stressed.
