"A short stay but a enjoyable one."

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

From  reception to ward to operating theatre everyone was polite and very helpful. In the ward Ali was the nurse looking after me she was so brilliant at her job the other nurses were also very nice and helpful. I wasn’t in long enough for a meal but after my operation nurse Lindsay made me toast and coffee it was the best ever toast.

My operation was performed by Miss MacEachan, a truly marvellous lady who has performed a few operations on my hands.  She also has a wonderful team they were all so professional making me feel so relaxed you could tell they all knew their jobs.

It was only a short stay but a enjoyable one.

Thank you Queen Margaret Day Surgery Unit

Dear johntheseadog

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback regarding your experience at day surgery, it is reassuring to see that you were well cared for by Ms McEachan and the team, The Coffee and Toast does go down a treat after a period of fasting, glad you enjoyed it. I will share your kind comments with the team and in particular Ali and Lindsay who will appreciate them very much. We wish you well in your recovery
