"Bad practice "

Tried to get an appointment and can never get through. They don't allow to make other appointments for a different day and make you fill out a form just to try and get an appointment. If I'm super Ill why am I filling out a form just to get an appointment? No other surgeries do this!

Dear Patient

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you have had difficulty in getting an appointment. We acknowledge that there are times when our phone lines are extremely busy and all available appointments get booked very early. We do regularly look at our appointment system to see if there are ways for us to improve this for our patients. However, due to high demand there are times when this cannot be avoided.

We have introduced a system where if patients come in to the surgery to book an appointment and there is no availability we ask the patient to complete a form. This ensures patients confidentiality and enables a clinician to triage the request and book appointments if necessary.
