"Outstanding team effort"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Cardiology Perth Royal Infirmary / Cornhill Macmillan Centre (Specialist Palliative Care Unit) Perth Royal Infirmary / General Medicine

(as the patient),

I am in my sixties and  I presented myself at Perth Royal Infirmary after having a heart attack the previous night.

I was in ward 6 on Friday night into the early hours of Saturday morning

I got extremely ill and was given a new start thanks to an outstanding team effort by the staff on duty to keep me alive!

I would also like to thank the staff at the PRI for looking after my friend who died in the Macmillan hospice in September after receiving excellent nursing in the wards & a dignified death in peace in Macmillans hospice.

Forever humbled & grateful. Kindest Regards

Dear Davy Boy,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such lovely feedback on your recent experiences in Ward 6 and also acknowledging the care your friend received whilst in PRI. It is wonderful to hear this and will be warmly received by the team.

Wishing you well with your recovery.
