I came to have an early scan due to having a cyst on my ovary. The scan was initially meant to be internal so I was surprised when I got there to find out it would be abdominal. Whilst the sonographer scanned me I was in terrible pain and a lot of discomfort but they just continued.
I also didn’t get a scan picture which was disheartening because I wanted proof that my baby was okay.
