Often when I visit my mum, agency staff can’t update me. Today I chose to pick up the binder at the end of the bed.
A nurse rudely and abruptly told me it’s not for me to see and snatched it from me. I explained I was interested in how mum was doing. They said I need to ask nurses. I told them, every time I ask, no one can tell me. They then rudely said, have you asked me today? To which I walked off and sat with my mum.
I would have expected a caring nurse to offer an update and not rudely take mum's records into a room. They did not do this with anyone else’s records?
I have full Power Of Attorney (POA) and was not respected nor offered an update. Rude beyond belief and not called for.
"Rudeness, not respected, not offered an update"
