What I liked

Excellent care provided by a dedicated staff who were often overworked. Two 28 bed wards each provide individual rooms for 12 patients, with four 4-bedded rooms making up the remaining 16 beds on each ward. All individual rooms have on-suite shower and toilet locted in a full wet room.

Hot meals are mostly very appetising, and limited visiting times lead to a relaxed atmosphere for the patients. (Beleive me, patients who are not very well do not really appreciate extended visiting hours).

A very appreciated stay in hospital.

What could be improved

The outside area, at the main entrance to the hospital, is digustingly filthy. It appears to have been unswept for several weeks and the ramp is littered with wrappings, drinks cans and chewing gum. A very poor first impresion of this otherwise excellent hospital.
