"Patient Care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care

(as a relative),

Delighted to hear about what your staff members were doing out with of their shift, instead of actually seeing to patients that had been waiting for over 2 hours.

My wife was basically told she was a liar, even though the information she was providing was previously provided to from a midwife. I couldn’t get the nurse's name, as no badge was present nor a name provided.

Night shift or not and busy or not, staff should not take their attitude out of anyone, absolutely appalled.

Dear Ad99mson,

Please accept my apologies to you and your wife for any negative experience of our services. I am really keen to investigate your complaint in further depth. Please could I ask you to email PatientAffairs.Wishaw@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk detailing your concerns,

I am extremely sorry for any undue stress staff attitudes may have posed to you both.

Warmest wishes

Cheryl
