"My child's mental health"

My son has been struggling with his mood and we were urgently referred to the CAMHS team within  Belfast Trust. 

As you can imagine it's a very scary thing for a family to deal with but the team have been really kind and supportive throughout. 

We had our initial appointment within 3 weeks of the referral and were given information about what to do in the meantime and how to contact the team if we need to.

They were so gentle and kind with my son and made sure he never felt pressured or overwhelmed and that he understood every decision and option ahead.

I want to thank the whole team, for supporting my son, but also helping us to support him appropriately as well. 

It means the world to us to know that we have them on our side.
