I presented to ED with chest pain which developed during my shift at the hospital, and despite how busy the department was, I was kept informed and every nurse, nursing assistant and doctor I met could not have been more approachable. Due to the great service of the Urgent Care Centre I was able to go home that same night and come back the following morning for my CT Scan.
The Urgent Care Centre staff, particularly Vanessa, Emma and Tiegan were very approachable and fantastic at their job. Despite difficulties attempting to cannulate me for my CT Scan they still showed me the same compassion and care despite it being a frustrating process of trying to cannulate me. On the 4th attempt of putting a cannula in they were successful and I was able to go for my CT Scan.
Thankfully everything came back clear and I was able to go home being reassured that everything had came back normal and I was just to rest and take it easy.
Thank you to all the staff that looked after me, checked in on me and kept me informed of what was happening with my care. You are all a great asset to your departments.
"Great asset to the team"
