"A great service"

About: Community Therapy Services / Nottingham West Community Therapy

(as a relative),

My mum has had previous support from the service when she was doing better and had further support after some decline in her mobility which I know is not going to get better.

I want to thank everyone who has supported my mum and their efforts to get her moving again.

I do not know how many times a week you visited but I do know you visited mum at weekends too.

I know that if you were concerned, you would call me and let me know. Eg. Mum seems unwell, problems accessing mums property due to keysafe issues.

I do know too that you made mum hot drinks. You were caring and compassionate.

The only thing I would say is and I do think this was resolved, request to call me on my mobile number and not my landline. I could have advised quicker and sooner had this been the case.

Otherwise, thank you to each and everyone who supported my mum. What a great service you are.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our service. In NW Community Therapy services we do our very best to meet the needs of our patients, giving them opportunity to thrive,

Our 7 day service supports individuals to become independent and ensure that they are able to manage activities of daily living with as much ease as possible.

We are aware that families are very much part of our 'team' also, so I am pleased to hear you felt the communication between yourself and our staff was sufficient. I will take back your comments about the mobile contact number being the primary contact number. We will change how we register the family contacts on our computer system so we can be clear about which number is the preferred number. Thank you for this valuable feedback.

Your comments about the care and compassion nature of of staff and very valued. I will ensure this gets back to the staff who visited your Mum.

Best wishes for your Mum's future health and thank you for getting in touch.

Sallyanne Wilson

Community Therapy Service Lead NW.
