(as the patient),

I was under the care of the general surgical ward last week and I just wanted to commend the team. After travelling from Grampian for my procedure, from the minute I arrived on the ward to when I left I was put at ease by everyone I met.

A huge appreciation has to go to my anaesthetist for being so caring and patient with me. We discussed my history and I put full trust in him that his plan would work. I will be forever grateful to him for taking that time with me to reassure me.

I also had an amazing nurse Joyce who was an angel when I was back on the ward, even though I was still a little woozy after my pain relief and anaesthetic she reassured my mum and made sure I was comfortable for my journey back to Aberdeen.

A brilliant team!!
