"Who is there ?"

About: Lings Bar Hospital

I rang a switchboard which I assumed was a direct line to Ling's Bar only to find out that it wasn't despite the number being published as the Ling's Bar number. After several calls I was told there was no patient under the name I had given resident. There was and is as they have later confirmed, but I find it astonishing that they initially told me that my friend wasn't there ! They have also given him no explanation as to why he remains there, as he feels fit enough to go home.

I was so sorry to read about your experience. It's frustrating to hear that they were unable to confirm your friend as a patient was resident. This may have been due to a number of reasons, one of which could be due to confidentiality around your friends admission.

I have shared your feedback with Lings Bar Hospital as they may be able to give you a further update.

I must also apologise for the delay in responding to you. The feedback has been shared with us via nhs.uk and it may be that the staff who would usually reply may not have received an email alert about your experience therefore the length of time to respond is longer than we would like.

We really value any feedback about our services as it's the best way to improve on what we do and to listen and respond to feedback both positive and negative.

Kin regards

Jane
