"Making one of the hardest times of my life easier"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Aberdeen maternity after my blood pressure would not stabilise. I was looked after in the antenatal day assessment and then I was moved to triage then I was transferred to the labour ward where I had to receive 1-1 care to help stabilise my BP. It was an exceptionally scary time as I was only 31 weeks pregnant. I would like to say a huge thank you to Morag and Donna in the labour ward for their care and compassion. I would also like to thank all the midwifes and staff in the summerfield ward especially Emily, Nikki, Anna and Hazel for making one of the hardest times of my life easier the care has been amazing and can not thank you all enough.
