(as a service user),

On being admitted for major surgery I felt very reassured by the surgeon and her team. Whilst full details were given of what could go wrong I felt I was in safe hands at all times.

From the staff on ward 33 to the porter taking me to theatre all were caring and professional.

After care was excellent , they were all caring and ensuring that I was well whilst being extremely busy.

My one and only complaint was the ward itself was cold .

Thank you so much Muriel145 for your kind feedback which I will share with all the staff. I hope you are recovering well at home now after your surgery.

I can only apologize for the ward being cold during your time with us and I know that was not ideal. This was escalated at the time and I am happy to say that this is now resolved and the ward is a cozy temperature again.

Again, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. As the senior charge nurse of the gynaecology inpatient ward I am happy to hear that you felt safe and that staff were caring and knowledgeable as this is our aim for every patient.
