I would like to thank all the staff involved in the safe delivery of my baby girl at the beginning of December 2022.
I was induced on ward 72. Every staff member was kind and helpful even when they were so busy - especially midwives Annie, Hannah and Emily who I was cared for over the course of my induction. I am so grateful for and won’t forget the care and reassurance given by Emily after my labour sped up unexpectedly. It made such a difference to how I felt and my experience as a first time mum.
The midwives who delivered my baby and looked after me in the delivery room were also brilliant and made me feel safe and reassured by explaining what was happening at each stage, I then had lots of time with my baby and partner before being moved on to the ward.
I also would like to thank Doctor David who I was seen by in the delivery suite. He took his time talking to us and had a great manner which we really appreciated - I’m sure he was being rushed off his feet behind the scenes but he never showed this once.
All in, I had a really positive experience at the PRM and I am very grateful to the all the staff from the maternity assessment to the post natal ward who made my experience this way.
"A really positive experience"
