"Nothing was too much trouble for anyone."

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

My young 18 month old puppy ran into my leg at full pelt causing a tibia plateau fracture. I attended casualty at Wishaw General where I spent most of the day. The care was continuously of a good quality and everything was explained. All the people I came into contact with couldn't have been kinder or more thoughtful and I was kept fully informed at all times of what was happening.

Saturday I returned to day surgery at Wishaw General where Fleur introduced herself as my allocated nurse.

Fleur and her two colleagues were fantastic throughout my entire stay.

All staff couldn't have been more thoughtful and kind from the surgeon all the way down.

So my overall experience of having to attend hospital so far has been extremely positive and from feeling very scared and worried about going I was constantly reassured and helped. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.

I can't thank them all enough

With many thanks

Dear Janet L,

Thanks for taking the time to share your recent experience within our Emergency Department at Wishaw. I am pleased to hear that you had a positive experience and will be happy to share your comments with our staff.

I hope you are recovering well after your injury and that your puppy is being a very good boy/girl after your accident.

Best wishes,

Julie.
