"Super GP Practice"

I want to publicly thank our truly amazing GP practice at Hillington Road and Walmer Crescent who cared respectfully and compassionately for my recently deceased husband for many years.

Their kindness and responsiveness; the way they involved us both in planning his care; the support of the whole practice and the care shown by all including the admin and reception team including Debbie, Lorraine, Lesley, Nicole, Elle; the pharmacist Shoma; the nurses including linked Community Nurses was amazing and consistently so for many years.

The GPs who oversaw my husband’s care deserve a special mention…especially at a time when GP teams are getting wholly undeserved criticism from some quarters.  To Dr Kerr in particular..my husband thought a lot of you.  He trusted you and felt so much better even just seeing you.  I will always be grateful for your kindness and respect when he last saw you face to face.

A huge thank you to Dr Oates, Dr Thompson, Dr Williamson, Dr Rush and Dr Cunningham..and to other GPs who cared for him.   I cannot adequately find words that explain the depth of my gratitude..of our gratitude.  He always appreciated everything that you did for him.

You deserve to be recognised for the exceptional care you provide.  Thank you all.
