"Fantastic care "

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital

I had been suffering acute pain and discomfort in my back and abdomen for some weeks and eventually the pain was so bad my son called 999. When we arrived at Reading A&E I cant honestly remember too much as I was in so much pain but I seemed to get through A&E quickly and get some pain relief. I had acute pancreatitis and apparently was passing gall stones which was what the pain was. The care I received from all at RBH was magnificent, the Doctors and Nurses all absolutely brilliant. I just wanted to say a monster thank you and also to say that not everything in the NHS is broken as the media are desperate to say at the moment. Thank you NHS (Royal Berks) you were brilliant.

Dear Dean

Many thanks for providing feedback on your care in our A&E and gastroenterology department at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. It is very reassuring to read that you received great care and that the clinical teams were so efficient and effective. Your review has been shared with both teams and we hope you are now feeling much better.
