"My day was wasted"

About: Musgrave Park Hospital / Children's Orthopaedics and biologics

What a circus Musgrave Park Regional Orthopaedic Service is running, BHSCT.

The doctor's patients are left in the lurch waiting in the waiting room, only to be told that their appointments have been cancelled.

The appointments office phoned me to make the appointment on behalf of the doctor. An insincere apology from the nursing staff doesn't cut it, as they have no reason to make the apology. It is the doctor who, in my view, has gone AWOL, and who should be apologizing.

I'm not very happy, I'm angry and annoyed that my day was wasted by the actions of the doctor towards his patients.

Genuinely sorry to hear of your experience. The nursing staff apologised on the day and provided an explanation. We have now been in contact with further information on the situation and a timely new appointment. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Dr Seamus O'Brien
