(as a relative),

My husband took unwell recently, suffering a heart attack at a local sports centre. Staff there were excellent in helping us communicate with family and calling emergency services.

We would like to thank the paramedics, Ian and partner,  who attended to us as they were so reassuring and diligent in the way they explained the procedures. We can't thank them enough for their efficiency and compassion. We know "it's their job" -  but the manner in which they helped us made the experience much less alarming and in our opinion they certainly went over and above their duty of care.

Arriving at the Golden Jubilee hospital, this level of excellent care continued and we are very grateful to all staff in the Cath Lab and the Coronary Care Unit. Everyone who assisted my husband was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Well done, NHS Scotland - your service is second to none!  Thank you everyone involved.
