What I liked

The staff were very kind and helpful especially when I was in pain. Even though they were short staffed over Christmas they went out of their way to ensure that my family were made welcome and that the experience of being away from my family was as less upsetting as possible. Since I was bed ridden for 3 months , I can only say that the nurses were maravelous in keeping my spirits up and aiding my recovery.

The pain nurses and the theatre staff were very supportive in helping control the pain and reasurring me.

What could be improved

There could be more staff available to help the bed ridden deal with their toilet arrangements.

The elderly need more assistance on general wards.
