"Lovely and helpful nurses"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Daisy Paediatric Ward Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

I brought my son to the Emergency Department at Daisy Hill as he was having some difficulties as a result of RSV. Our A&E experience was very positive - we had no issues. The staff were all very lovely.

Up on the Daisy Children's Ward it has been absolutely excellent - I really couldn't fault it. The staff were all lovely, helpful and explain everything to you. Sinead on yesterday in particular was very lovely and very helpful. The side-room itself has been nice as well and has had everything we needed.

I have no suggestions for improvement.

Hello virgozc67

Thankyou for taking the time to share your experience of Daisy Ward with us.

It is always good to read such positive feedback. I am delighted to hear the staff provided good communication to yourself and you found comfort and all needs were provided for within the side room.

I will pass on your comments to Sinead and the wider team who I am sure will be delighted

I hope your son is continuing to improve and you are both keeping well

Regards

Ciara
