"Chest pain and feeling unwell"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

A Specialist Paramedic and student Paramedic were sent to me because I was having chest pain and palpitations. As soon as they arrived they made me feel at ease explaining everything as they were attaching all the recording equipment but using normal dialogue along with a bit of light humour. They didnt leave until they knew I was comfy with everything. They were amazing and anyone would be lucky to have them attend to them

Dear cygnutsx87

Thank you for your taking your time to share Feedback here on Careopinion

I am so sorry to read about you experiencing chest pains and feeling unwell. This must have been a really worrying experience for you.

It is lovely to read this positive feedback about the care given from our staff. It really sounds like they made a difference to a scary situation

I would be more than happy to pass on your thanks to them both, if would like. If you would like for this to happen, please may I kindly ask for you to get in touch with our Patient Feedback team to provide us with your name, address, and date of attendance which will allow us to locate this incident. The email address is sas.feedback@nhs.scot. If you would also be so kind to make reference to your Care Opinion Username so that if someone else picks it up, they can easily link it to this feedback.

I hope you are feeling much better!

Thank you once again

Best Wishes

Lesley
