"Did not make an effort to listen"

About: Recovery support team / Twickenham Recovery Support Team

(as a service user),

Medical review with TRST. The doctor I met was very rude and said that they were not there to listen to me. People who think this way shouldn't be working with vulnerable people. Refused to do the medical review as they had had to repeat three times the same thing. I felt that they found it difficult dealing with a non-English speaker. They did not need to repeat the same thing, they had misunderstood me and refused to make any effort to listen. The medical review was ended before it started and then I heard the doctor make comments about me in the corridor - no confidentiality - to two colleagues.
